National Trust: When Autumn Comes

Third in a series of four sweet and simple stories about a young child's joyful discovery of nature through the seasons. When autumn comes, the leaves are changing colour on the trees, the birds are flying south and the sleepy hedgehog is settling down for his winter sleep. Pine cones, apples and a shiny conker in its spiky case, picking pumpkins with Mum and raking leaves with Dad, before sharing apple pie, warm and cosy as the wind whistles outside - there is so much to see and do as the natural world prepares for the coming winter.
